Each child has different individual needs. Once your child has had an assessment completed, your therapist will be able to recommend the duration and frequency of ongoing therapy.
Speech and Occupational therapy are highly individualised, and the specific needs and progress of your child will influence how long therapy is required. Therefore, it is difficult to provide an exact time frame for therapy. Factors that may determine this include the child's range of difficulties, underlying causes, age, consistency and frequency of therapy, family involvement and follow up at home.
